ROLE OVERVIEW: As Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you'll optimize production processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure manufacturing excellence for our medical device portfolio. You'll lead DFM efforts, implement cost-saving measures, and maintain quality standards in our regulated environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Spearhead process optimization and automation initiatives
Develop and validate manufacturing procedures aligned with ISO/FDA requirements
Drive cost reduction through innovative manufacturing solutions
Lead equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) and new product transitions
Design fixtures and tooling to enhance production efficiency
Manage documentation including work instructions and engineering changes
Provide technical leadership for production support and problem resolution
Partner with R&D on manufacturability and cost optimization

REQUIREMENTS:

BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in medical devices
Proven expertise in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
Strong foundation in engineering drawings, specifications, and process planning
Experience with SolidWorks and technical documentation
Machine shop knowledge (milling, turning, grinding) valued
Excellence in problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration
Strong analytical skills and self-motivated work style

This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in medical device manufacturing while working with advanced technologies and processes.
Compensation range $100K to $145K+
