Attorney - Administrative Law (55370)

Our client, a busy and rapidly growing, real estate development/public finance/administrative law practice law firm in Austin, Texas, is seeking an associate attorney with experience in real estate development, legislative affairs, regulatory compliance, special district creation, public finance, public law, municipal utility districts (MUD), administrative law and/or government relations. Substantive legal experience in some, or all, of the following areas is required: real estate development, legislative affairs, regulatory compliance, special district creation, public finance, public law, municipal utility districts (MUD), administrative law and/or government relations. 
Requirements:

J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
Current Texas Bar licensed and in good standing
Minimum of 2 years of substantive legal experience in any of the following areas: real estate development, legislative affairs, regulatory compliance, special district creation, public finance, public law, municipal utility districts (MUD), administrative law and/or government relations
Contested case experience at TCEQ (Texas Commission on Environmental Quality), PUCT (Public Utility Commission of Texas), and SOAH (State Office of Administrative Hearings) and related litigation
Working knowledge of both the Administrative Procedures Act and TRCP/TRAP (Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure)
Demonstrated ability to immediately assume a meaningful role and participate in projects and client relationships
