Responsibilities
- Design and detail below-the-hook lifting devices according to customer needs and applicable national code specifications
- Perform calculations on mechanical lever systems and lifting devices
- Collaborate with sales and engineering department to produce a final product
Education/Experience
- Associate's degree in Mechanical Design/Engineering
- Minimum 3 years experience working with below-the-hook lifting devices, overhead cranes
- Ability to perform calculations on mechanical lever systems and lifting devices
- Be able to work with minimum supervision
- Proficiency in Autodesk software (Inventor, AutoCAD, Vault, etc...)
