Electrical Engineer - Electronic Engineer
R&D Hands-on Full Lifecycle Product Development

Salary: based on experience & education ($100k - $180k)


Location: East Central, IL - Champaign area – Relocation Assistance Available

Electronics Engineer / Electrical Engineer
You will be involved with component selection, circuit layout, assembly, testing, debugging, and validation for high-voltage switching and DC subsystems
Working with:

·        Switched-Mode DC-DC Converters


·        High-voltage (kV) SiC Mosfets & GaN power electronics

·        High Current IGBTs or GaN High-Electron Mobility Transistors

·        HV circuit design & layout


·        Hardware fabrication 


·        Electronics test & measurement


·       Bachelors degree with 5+ years experience or a Masters degree with 2+years

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s or greater and 5+ years’ Electrical Engineering
OR
Microelectronics experience with prototyping & production facility work backgrounds plus experience with LDMOS or high-voltage GaN RF electronics, and/or high voltage SiC or GaN power electronics, LCR design, and/or noise immunity and simulations through LT SPICE.

·        Basic circuit design, layout/BOM tools, such Altium/KiCAD


·        High voltage test equipment, diagnostic tools, electrical schematics, mechanical drawings


·        Mechanical design such as SolidWorks


·        Passionate about technology & looking to apply that passion to your career

This position is for someone that wants to be involved and collaborative with the rest of the team. On-site, you need to be there, hands-on, team member that will see the results of your work go into production and delivered to the end customer.
