Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil/environmental engineering
8+ years of consulting engineering experience in Wastewater and Water treatment technologies for municipal, commercial, or industrial facilities
Production of contract drawings and specifications
Experience in contracts and construction management
Active Professional Engineering License (PE)
DBIA and/or PMP certification is a plus

Job Duties

Serve as the lead technical resource for the installation of various wastewater treatment systems
Prepare design drawings in conjunction with Engineers and Designers
Develop equipment specifications
Design and develop specifications for wastewater treatment plant and conveyance systems
Be responsible for projects from proposal to delivery
Develop calculations for biological treatment, process pipe and pump sizes, edit CSI type specifications for project manuals
Provide QC and PE reviews while commenting on the work of other staff members
Work with Designers to develop drawing packages and provide mark-ups
Work with other design professionals and contractors during the construction phase of projects
Occasional overnight travel for projects.
