We will make this process easy for you...apply today!Long-term, evolving company wants to offer you the flexibility that you deserve! They are hiring a Payroll Coordinator to join their HR, benefits and payroll team! Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Learn the bi-weekly payroll process for hourly and salaried staff
Process and troubleshoot payroll and analyze any discrepancies
Oversee the payroll process and be able to handle confidential salary and hourly information
Create and review required payroll reports
Be knowledgeable of payroll regulation and compliance
Oversee garnishments and child support deductions
Work closely with accounting and human resources on payroll processes
Initiate improvements in the payroll process
Complete reporting functions within the HRIS system, including extracting data into Excel for additional analysis
Ensure that benefit deductions are accurate
Participate in audits related to payroll
Complete year-end payroll functions, including W-2 distribution
Once trained and up to speed, answer team members questions related to payroll
Assist with other HR functions as needed, including benefits
Communicate with all levels of the team to complete projects and initiatives
Other duties as delegated by the manager
Candidates should have strong analytical skills, excellent problem solving, be hands on, flexible with work responsibilities and enjoy working within a team-oriented environment. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
1. At least 1-2 years of similar payroll experience, including being the point of contact for payroll questions, compliance, taxes, regulatory, etc.
2. Experience working with an HRIS or ERP system to process payroll
3. Microsoft Office, especially strong MS Excel skills, including formatting, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, exporting information into Excel, etc.
Skills that are preferred, BUT NOT required:1. Human resources or benefits experience 2. Experience with Kronos or ADP
