Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and self-driven sales professional to join our team in identifying and securing new business opportunities aligned with our plant’s capabilities and niche markets within the folding carton and paperboard packaging industry. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong, professional client relationships, ensuring a high level of service and expertise in our product offerings.
How You Will Contribute:
Develop and execute a structured sales process with clear KPIs to measure strategy effectiveness and value.
Build trust with clients and colleagues by becoming an expert in product offerings, capable of leading discussions and addressing inquiries.
Evaluate and assess prospective and current customers’ needs to recommend appropriate products and solutions.
Proactively expand business by developing new client relationships and growing existing accounts.
Maintain a consistent sales pipeline to meet or exceed quota targets.
Serve as the primary liaison between clients, customer service representatives, internal teams, and other departments.
Support customer service by processing RFQ requests based on client specifications for design, estimates, and quotes.
Act as the first point of contact for customer service issues, coordinating delivery schedules and sample requests as needed.
Collaborate with production and internal teams to ensure efficient job and project workflows.
What We Need From You:
Extensive knowledge of the folding carton, packaging, and/or printing industries.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Demonstrated success in prospecting, presenting, and closing sales.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
8-10 years of outside sales experience in a related industry.
Willingness to travel up to 50% as required.
