Our client is growing and is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for a professional with a background in electrical services and project management, looking for a long-term position in the construction management field. The Project Manager will oversee multiple electrical construction projects, from the bid stage through to completion. This includes project administration, purchasing, scheduling, safety, contract management, estimating, and business development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Oversee the administration of multiple electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the clients satisfaction.
Manage all project phases from bidding to final completion.
Coordinate purchasing, contract administration, and resource management for each project.
Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely project completion.
Business Development & Estimating:
Participate in business development efforts to grow the companys client base and secure new projects.
Provide accurate project estimates and cost analysis to ensure competitive and profitable bids.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure that all projects comply with safety standards and regulations.
Implement and maintain safety protocols across all project sites.
Team Leadership and Mentorship:
Mentor and supervise team members, promoting company goals and values.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in an electrical services company with at least 3-5 years in project management.
Prior field experience is a must, with a focus on electrical construction.
Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish.
Education and Certifications:
Journeyman Electrician License (MA/NH) is required.
Master Electrician License is a plus.
Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Office) and project management software.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail, particularly with project budgeting.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple accounts at any given time.
