Environmental Associate (Junior)Location: North Jersey
Our client, a top AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Junior Associate to join their Environmental Practice Group in their North Jersey office.
Candidate Profile:
JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
Bar Admission in New Jersey required (or the ability to waive in). Admission in both NJ and NY is preferred.
2-4 years of substantive environmental law experience.
Strong academic credentials and superior writing and research skills.
Demonstrated entrepreneurial drive, initiative, and ability to work independently while inspiring confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal support across a range of transactional, commercial, regulatory, enforcement, and remediation matters.
Negotiate, draft, and implement agreements.
Handle the negotiation and resolution of pre-litigation claims.
Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys while maintaining independence in managing assignments.
