In this role, you’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to lead department initiatives, ensure clinical excellence, and oversee operational success while directly contributing to patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver compassionate and efficient clinical care to adult patients.
Provide leadership and oversight for department operations, collaborating with the Chief Medical Officer, Nurse Manager, and Practice Manager.
Drive continuous improvement in provider workflows, patient satisfaction, and operational performance.
Recruit, onboard, mentor, and retain clinical providers and staff.
Support compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
Analyze and present data to inform evidence-based decisions.
Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Board Certification: Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Medical License: Physician License in the state of Connecticut (Preferred).
Experience providing care to underserved populations with complex health needs.
Proven ability to lead and manage teams, even with limited administrative experience.
Experience supervising advanced practitioners (APRNs, PAs) preferred.
Familiarity with EHR systems and data-driven decision-making.
