Job Description
Design and analyze solar racking structures, including ground mounts and carports.
Develop drawings and specifications for structural projects, considering materials, environmental conditions, and design requirements.
Conduct stability assessments to ensure structures withstand wind, seismic activity, and snow loads.
Collaborate with engineers and drafters to develop safe, innovative, and efficient structural designs.
Perform on-site testing for preliminary soil capacity and inspect existing structures to identify issues or recommend improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Experience in cold-formed steel design is preferred.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, RISA 3D, STAAD Pro, Revu Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
