Girl's Accessories Designers
Seeking to hire a Junior and a Senior Designer for licensed hair accessories, jewelry and other accessories. We sell our product to all retailers in the US and abroad. Our business is growing and we are looking to expand our design team!
Responsibilities:

Remain current on emerging trends
Develop product and packaging from conception through to final production for existing brands and areas of expansion.
Create item line sheets and customer presentations.
Set up artwork for production and review samples for accuracy.
Communicate with factories overseas.
Monitor projects through all stages to ensure creative excellence is upheld and the highest quality product possible is hitting the shelf.
Lead by example, mentor and guide less experienced designers.
Shop the market, find the white space and bring new innovation to the table.
Stay up to date on our licensed brands and market trends to aid in product development.

Qualifications:


Minimum 3 years experience in licensed consumer products (experience in accessories design preferred)

People with these categories even if they are generic: necklaces, charm bracelets, earrings, hair clips/scrunchies/headbands
People who have done licensed related categories such as: licensed cosmetics, licensed bags/wallets/purses, licensed jewelry holders, licensed stationary, licensed party cups/plates/bags/etc.


Exceptional skills in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop and Illustrator
Resourceful self-starter, who knows how to get things done both independently and collaboratively
Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and manage multiple projects
Ability to prioritize work without missing critical deadlines
Must be able to work in a fast output start-up environment, and meet tight deadlines while paying attention to details
