Finance Associate Attorney – Corporate Trust, Agency, and Asset Servicing
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Our client, a distinguished AmLaw 50 law firm with a highly regarded finance practice, is seeking a talented Junior Associate Attorney to join their Corporate Trust, Agency, and Asset Servicing Team. Operating within their Finance Practice Group, this opening is located at their Charlotte office. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work on complex finance transactions with a dynamic and collaborative team.
Candidate Profile:
JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
Active bar admission.
1–2 years of substantive transactional and/or workout experience with securitization (any asset classes), corporate finance, collateralized loan obligations, and/or structured finance is strongly desired.
Experience representing corporate trustees, servicers, and/or agents is beneficial.
Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal counsel on sophisticated finance transactions, including securitization, loan and bond financing, CLOs, and structured finance matters.
Represent clients in all phases of transactional matters, including drafting and negotiating agreements and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to advise corporate trustees, agents, and servicers.
Handle workout and restructuring transactions, addressing challenges in financial instruments and agreements.
Build strong client relationships through effective communication and strategic counsel.
