Job Description
Assist attorneys in preparing, organizing, and maintaining legal documents for workers' compensation cases.
Manage and update case files, ensuring accuracy in records and compliance with deadlines.
Communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies to gather required documentation.
Schedule appointments, hearings, and depositions, ensuring all parties are informed and prepared.
Draft and prepare correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents under attorney supervision.
File legal documents with courts and administrative agencies.
Qualifications
Bilingual in Spanish is required.
Previous experience as a legal assistant
At least 1 year of experience on the applicant side in workers' compensation
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Capable of multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and professionals.
