Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a key member of our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, you will play a crucial role in performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. Your expertise in utilizing advanced radiologic technology and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team will contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, and other cardiovascular imaging procedures.
Operate and maintain fluoroscopy machines, digital imaging systems, and other specialized Cardiac Cath Lab equipment.
Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, monitoring vital signs and administering medications as directed.
Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Document and maintain accurate patient records, procedure logs, and required paperwork.
Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives, adhering to radiation safety and infection control standards.
Respond effectively to emergency situations, providing support in critical scenarios.
Stay updated on advancements in cardiac imaging technology through ongoing education and training.

Requirements and Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program with a focus on cardiovascular or interventional radiography.
Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist; additional certification in Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography (CVIR) preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, with a strong background in cardiovascular imaging procedures.
Proficient in operating Cardiac Cath Lab equipment and technology.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to patient-centered care.
